Groups for Women

Connect with Other Women at Flood!

Flood Groups are opportunities to gather and live out our mission of loving God, one another, and our neighbor as smaller communities throughout the week. Women's groups vary in meeting frequency. Some groups meet monthly or twice per month, and others hold weekly meetings. Find an open group near you on our Groups page.

Women’s Event

Monday, September 28, 6:30-8:30pm, Cafe

Connect with women of all ages as we hear guest speaker Tracy Carson, LPCC!

Description:

“Diamond Design”

“Who Am I and What’s my purpose?” With all of the noise in our culture today, especially from the constant barrage of messages via social media, women, both young and old, are being asked to define themselves by a highly curated and filtered ideal. It’s un-attainable and it’s leading to anxiety, depression, eating disorders and more when not re-defined and captured by truth that brings hope and healing, not shame and disgust.

Deeply personal and engaging, Tracy will bring an intimate look at womanhood and help us walk away understanding that we are uniquely created and designed with great purpose for a life of great joy.  Also, taking a deep dive into the trap of social media, Tracy will help us gain a greater understanding of the manipulative nature of online facades as well as the impact it has on our brains.

Additional Details:

Food: It’s salad night!  Consider bringing your favorite salad to share (green salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, potato salad, etc.).  Let us know you’re bringing a salad on your RSVP Response.
