Description:
Join us for this educational and relationship enhancement workshop designed to help partners strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, deepen their intimacy by understanding and reshaping the emotional bond between partners.
This weekend workshop is an in-person experience, based on the Created for Connection and Hold Me Tight Books and Curriculum created by Sue Johnson, the developer of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy integrated with Christian principles and values in loving relationships. You will be directed through seven structured, transformative conversations with your partner, with some teaching, videos, and group discussion.
This workshop is designed for couples who value their relationship and want to care for it intentionally. Some couples are preparing for marriage and want to build a strong foundation. Others have been married for decades and want to deepen what they already share. Others feel distant or regularly experience conflict in their relationship and want support in restoring closeness and connection.
COST: $425/Couple (partial scholarships available)
INCLUDES: 3-day workshop (one full day, 2 partial days), materials during the event, snacks and beverages, and Saturday lunch.
RECOMMENDED READING: Created for Connection or Hold Me Tight
Reading the book can be a great resource to have a first look at some of the material and concepts before trying the exercises with your partner, but it is not required.

The strengths of 2B1 is supporting one another. The couples that make up each class are grouped: three couples with one married coaching couple. There is homework each week that small groups discuss, followed by the presentation of a topic. There is also time for couples to discuss what they’ve learned. Additional follow up with coaches is highly encouraged.
