August Update

THANK YOU for your support of our new church home! Now that construction is in full swing, we will be sharing monthly updates on our progress, prayer requests and fundraising.

Current Completion Date: September 15, 2021 … sort of 

CONSTRUCTION & MOVE-IN UPDATE

Construction is quickly coming to an end! Our contractor recently moved his portable office off the property and is eager to see everything completed. Over these next several weeks, we will see all the final details finished as we prepare for the final inspection. The major concern continues to be an encroachment permit necessary for attaching our fire sprinkler system to the city’s waterline. We have done all the preparatory work and simply need the city to approve the plan. While nearly everything is complete, this will now cause delay in us being able to use the space for Sunday worship as our occupancy permit is dependent upon functioning fire sprinklers. We are also working to furnish the space and install the necessary equipment for sound, video and lighting. This process involves decisions upon decisions, and ordering items that (surprise!) are backordered due to the pandemic.

All this to say, while there continues to be twists and turns, plans are in full swing to make this move go smoothly. It will happen in a few short phases, pending any significant permitting delays, that will span from September through December 2021.

1. Move-in our office space and staff (our current office lease expires in September)
2. Begin using the space for smaller midweek ministries
3. Soft open the entire facility for worship on Sundays
4. Host a Grand Opening to mark this milestone and officially open our doors for generations to come!
