February Update

Here is our monthly update on our building project, prayer requests, fundraising progress and photos.

CONSTRUCTION & MOVE-IN UPDATE

The saga regarding our cut-in to the City's waterline has officially been resolved ... our fire sprinklers now have water! What began last summer came to a nail biting conclusion this last week with some help from the mayor's office. We are grateful to everyone who was praying and patient during this significant delay. This means we can finally call for final inspections and begin using our space!!

We are excited to announce that our first Sunday Worship Gatherings will be at 10am on March 6th!

Join us at 4772 Alvarado Canyon, SD, CA for this special time of worship. Flood Kids (infant - 5th grade) and Youth (6th - 12th grade) will be available. We will initially do a soft launch to help our church family adjust to the new space, complete several projects that could not begin until after final inspection and wait for back ordered items to arrive. Please pardon our dust as there are many finishing touches still to occur. While newcomers are always welcome, we are waiting a bit to extend an invite to the greater community of San Diego until our Grand Opening to be announced at a later date. During this soft launch phase, we appreciate your continued patience, support and feedback as we move forward together! 

We also still need to raise $380,000 to complete this phase of our project. For those who have outstanding pledges, our pledge drive officially concludes March 31st, and we would appreciate your fulfillment. We also welcome any new gifts to help us meet our remaining need. PRAYER REQUESTS

• PRAY we pass our final inspection and receive an occupancy permit as soon as possible.
• PRAY the contractors finish strong. That all final details are tended to well.
• PRAY for the continued safety of our construction site and all those working on the job.
• This month please specifically pray for the Flood Staff and Volunteers. The next several weeks will be filled with much activity to not only get our space ready, but to ensure a great and meaningful worship experience for all. Please pray for those serving in Flood Kids, Youth, Production, Hospitality and more. Pray for energy, safety and continued enthusiasm.
• PRAY for the remaining provision necessary to complete our church home.

HOME CAMPAIGN

Thank you to the many who gave generously to our project over the past 3 years. Our campaign officially comes to a close on March 31, 2022 and we need to raise the remaining  $380,445 by then. Please fulfill any remaining pledges and/or make additional gifts prior to March 31st. Any remaining balance will be converted to a loan.

Current Phase
Includes conversion of two-story warehouse to a multi-use space that will include worship auditorium, classrooms, offices and cafe.
