November Update

Here is our monthly update on our building project, prayer requests and fundraising progress.

CONSTRUCTION & MOVE-IN UPDATE

“Hurry up and wait.” This phrase seems to summarize our project as it nears completion. There is much activity in the space as we prepare to open doors, yet wait for the final inspections and permits necessary to begin using it. We are working diligently with our engineers, contractors and City officials in order to keep everything moving along, yet there continues to be minor surprises around every turn. As of today, if all things continued moving as planned, we would receive our final inspection by month’s end and begin using our new home just in time to celebrate the Advent season. 

As a leadership team, our top priority continues to be our vision. We want to experience and share Christ’s hope and healing with all wherever we find ourselves on Sundays or throughout the week. We look forward to meaningful moments to mark the Advent season together and will be welcoming back our annual Giving Tree to help families in need at the end of this month. We also look forward to very special Christmas Eve gatherings that will (hopefully!) take place in our new space. 

To help us be ready to open doors once permissions are received, we need your help! We will be hosting work days to prepare the space. Our first one will be this Sunday, 11/14, from 12pm – 5pm. PRAYER REQUESTS

• Pray the City allows us to attach our fire sprinklers to their water line … this is the final detail necessary related to our underground permit.
• Pray we pass our final inspection without any further surprises and receive an occupancy permit by the end of the month.
• Pray the contractors finish strong. That all final details are tended to well.
• Pray for the continued safety of our construction site and all those working on the job.
• This month please specifically pray for Matt Hammett. Matt has served as our primary representative to our Project Manager and Contractor, helping oversee the entire construction project.
• Pray for the remaining provision necessary to complete our church home.

HOME CAMPAIGN

We are seeing great momentum in the home stretch of our HOME Campaign! We are so grateful for the many who are advancing pledges and making generous gifts towards our remaining goal. We have recently been encouraged by the $150,000+ in stock gifts we have received. Wow! Every dollar counts and will help us fund the remaining needs for the space and begin using it for Kingdom impact. We need to raise the remaining $611,310 by the end of this year.
