October Update

Here is our monthly update on our building project, prayer requests and fundraising progress.

CONSTRUCTION & MOVE-IN UPDATE

This month was a big one for our project! After 15+ years at our Ruffin Rd and Kearny High locations, we are officially moving out, and moving all of our existing items into our new building. As we reflect upon the many life changing memories these spaces held, we cannot wait for the many more to come in our new permanent home! We also finally received the underground permit that has delayed final construction. With a permit in hand, construction is now active as our fire sprinklers get connected to water. Once that is completed all final inspections will occur. Without any new surprises, we are hopeful to have an occupancy permit in 3-4 weeks!

Nearly every day, new furniture and equipment is arriving to help make our property a church home. Once we pass final inspection, our offices and smaller midweek gatherings will begin using the space, followed by a soft opening of our Sunday gatherings. We will share dates as soon as we know them. We do need your help to get settled and ready to welcome guests into our church home. We are assembling a team of all skill levels to assemble furniture and address minor projects. PRAYER REQUESTS

• Pray for the swift completion of work and inspections related to our underground permit.
• Pray we pass our final inspection without any further surprises and receive an occupancy permit in November.
• Pray the contractors finish strong. That all final details are tended to well.
• Pray for the continued safety of our construction site and all those working on the job.
• This month please specifically pray for Kate Jackson and Lindsey Lee. Kate and Lindsey are the Flood Staff members responsible for navigating our move into the new space.
• Pray for the remaining provision necessary to complete our church home.

HOME CAMPAIGN

We are seeing great momentum in the home stretch of our HOME Campaign! We are so grateful for the many who are advancing their pledges and making generous gifts towards our remaining goal. Every dollar counts and will help us fund the remaining needs for the space as we begin using it for Kingdom impact! We need to raise the remaining $758,560 by the end of this year.
