September Update

THANK YOU for your support of our new church home! Now that construction is in full swing, we will be sharing monthly updates on our progress, prayer requests and fundraising.

CONSTRUCTION & MOVE-IN UPDATE

It was exciting to introduce our new church home to many of you over the past two weeks on our building tours! We are so close to the finish line. Construction is nearly wrapped up, yet our lack of an encroachment permit has officially delayed our ability to begin using the space. The good news is that the City has finally given us approval, but it will take another 3 weeks or so for the permit to be issued, work to be accomplished and final inspections to occur. We were able to extend our office lease for another month, but will have to move out by the end of October. We are very hopeful our initial move-in will happen in October, so please join us in praying for that result. We continue to feel blessed by College Avenue Baptist Church and their willingness to host us on Sundays. They recently let us know that they will be returning all the rent we have paid to them up to this point! Praise God for their generosity and partnership in ministry! As construction comes to a close, our team is busy making plans and purchases to fill the space with everything necessary for meaningful ministry.

1. Our move-in process will happen in a few short phases and we will keep you updated on any dates and details as we know them.
2. Move-in our office space and staff (our current office lease now expires in October)
3. Begin using the space for smaller midweek ministries
4. Soft open the entire facility for worship on Sundays
5. Host a Grand Opening to mark this milestone and officially open our doors for generations to come!

PRAYER REQUESTS

PRAY for a swift receipt of an encroachment permit and that the associated work and inspections would happen as soon as possible.

PRAY we pass our final inspection without any further surprises and receive an occupancy permit in October.

PRAY the contractors finish strong. That all final details are tended too well.

PRAY for the continued safety of our construction site and all those working on the job.

This month please specifically PRAY for Tim Eagerton. Tim is the Flood Staff member responsible for our Sunday Worship Gatherings and navigating many decisions related to those aspects of the building.

PRAY for the remaining provision necessary to complete our church home.

HOME CAMPAIGN

We are so grateful for the many gifts and pledges we have received so far. Every dollar counts and will help us meet our goal of using this space for Kingdom impact! While we are now utilizing a construction loan, we need to raise the remaining $813,000 by the end of this year.
