The Giving Tree is our annual tradition of providing Christmas gifts for families in need throughout San Diego. Since 2008, Flood Church has collected thousands of Christmas gifts that benefit individuals in need, identified by our partnerships with local organizations (see below). Thank you for joining us in providing Christmas gifts for those in need!

How it works:

PICK UP a Christmas ornament from the Giving Tree at church beginning November 23rd, 2025 OR choose items from the list below.

PURCHASE the items on the tag (or below) and BRING the gifts back (with their tag) to Flood by Sunday, December 7th or 14th (Follow specific instructions on each tag).  Other tags, such as Flood Benevolence gifts, can be returned anytime through Dec 24th.

If you are unable to join us in person, feel free to donate to our partners directly.

STRONG FAMILIES TEAM

Partnering with Olive Crest
Use the link below to purchase any of the following items and bring to Flood on or before December 14th, and please label it with “Strong Families Team”.

Teen Gifts: $25 Gift Cards to Amazon, Starbucks, or Old Navy

ANTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING TEAM

Partnering with Generate Hope
Donate a gift to a survivor of human trafficking, partnering with Generate Hope in their healing journey.  Since these gifts have been specially requested by program house residents with sizes, colors, or brands, you must pick up an ornament from Flood for these gifts, and return the gift to Flood by Dec 14th.  Or contact  to see how you can donate if you aren't able to pick up a tag. Thank You!

PRISON TEAM

The Prison Team supports ministry at Donovan State Prison.  This year, the tags for this team are on the trees at church.  Pick up a tag on the trees, purchase the gift, and return to Flood by Sunday, December 21st.

FLOOD COMMUNITY BENEVOLENCE

These gifts are used for those within Flood Church or in our surrounding community who experience a season or situation of need.

$25 or $50 Target and DoorDash Gift Cards.  It's helpful for our church to have Gift Cards that are not specifically Holiday-Themed, since we distribute these throughout the entire year as needs arise.  Bring the unwrapped gift card to Flood any Sunday now through December 24th.
