LEADER: Adam Johnson: I am back attending Flood since 2021 after having previously attended during college / post-college before moving out of the area. I am married with two young daughters in Santee. I work in finance and accounting for a local technology company. Apart from family and work, I spend my time playing golf, disc golf, tennis, board games, the stock market, and following most sports. I'm starting this group in an online format because I know from experience how difficult it can be to balance work, commuting, family activities, child care, hobbies, travel, etc. with having to be in a certain place at night during the week. My hope is we can learn and grow together through our studies and discussion while also still having the opportunity to attend the Man Monday events.THEME: The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry (book and/or podcast study)
DESCRIPTION: We are a new men's group with a focus this semester on learning how Jesus lived so that we may follow his practices in our own lives. We'll be following the Ruthless Elimination of Hurry book by John Mark Comer, which he has also done podcasts on the material that can be listened to as an alternative or supplement to reading the book. We'll meet for 3 of the 4 weeks on Monday nights at 7:30 with taking off the Man Monday weeks.
