For many of us, the Trinity can feel like advanced theology, important, but confusing. Something for seminary classrooms and ancient creeds. But does it really make a difference that God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? I believe it makes all the difference! Dorothy Sayers once wrote, "The Christian faith is the most exciting drama that ever staggered the imagination of man — and the dogma is the drama." Doctrine is not dry information about God. It tells the living story of who God is, how He loves, and what He is doing to reclaim the world. The Trinity is not a theological riddle to solve. It is the love of God revealed, received, and shared. This Sunday we'll explore why the Trinity matters for our real lives: our identity, our healing, our relationships, and our mission in the world.
