I vividly remember my first Easter as a new believer. It was an exciting and joy-filled celebration as God's presence filled the room and our pastor declared "He is Risen" and the church responded, "He is Risen Indeed!" I have had the opportunity to participate in many Easter celebrations over the years but this year is uniquely special!

We are excited to host our very first Easter celebrations in our new church home this weekend! Our celebration includes a petting zoo for the kids and a photo booth on both Saturday and Sunday. We will enjoy craft pizza on Saturday after the gathering then coffee and donuts on Sunday. Most importantly, we will celebrate that Jesus is alive and active in our lives and the world! The Resurrection of Jesus Christ changes everything! The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to us today! God raises us to life when we place our trust in Jesus, changes us from the inside out and empowers us to be a part of the good and beautiful work He is doing in the world!
