Everyday Easter: How the Resurrection Impacts Our Daily Lives

Are Fear and Scarcity Holding You Back?

What if the kind of community we long for isn't something we have to create, but something Jesus is already forming? In Acts 2, we get this powerful picture of the early church, people devoted to Jesus, sharing life together, and living with open hands. It's compelling. It's beautiful. And if we're honest, it's the kind of community many of us want.

But here's the tension: That kind of life doesn't happen by accident. So, this Sunday, we're looking at Acts 2:42-47 and asking a simple question:
How do we live as a resurrection community in a world shaped by fear and scarcity?

We'll see that this kind of life is formed around devotion to Jesus, lived out in real relationships, and expressed through generosity. And we'll talk about what it looks like for us, not just to admire that picture, but to step into it.

Part of that step for us as a church is a simple invitation we're calling the Malachi 3:10 Challenge, a 3-month step of faith beginning Sunday, May 3. The invitation is to begin giving a percentage of your income back to God. Not out of pressure, but as a way of learning to trust Him and live with open hands. And if you're already giving consistently, the invitation is to grow in the grace of giving.
