At the deepest level, every one of us is asking two questions:
Who am I?
And where is my life headed?
Those questions shape everything: how we love, how we suffer, how we face uncertainty, how we handle money, and how we live each day. This Sunday, we're going to explore 1 John 3:1-3 and reflect on one of the most beautiful truths in all of Scripture: "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God and that is what we are." 1 John 3:1
Let that sink in:
You are not forgotten.
You are not alone.
You are not an orphan.
You are a beloved child of God.
And because of Jesus' Resurrection, not only do we have a new identity, we have a glorious destiny: "When Christ appears, we shall be like Him"; I John 3:2. Your future is bright because your future is Jesus. We'll talk about how secure connection with God reshapes who we are and frees us to live with courage, generosity, and hope in a world often marked by fear and scarcity.
