Body & Soul: The Gift of an Embodied Faith

Why does God allow our bodies to break?

This week, we continue our series by exploring what it means to live out our faith in real, fragile, human bodies. Why does God allow our bodies to break? My hope is that this is an invitation to slow down, take a breath, and recognize that our physical pain, exhaustion, and limitations are not signs of weakness or failure, but a space where God meets our humanity with deep compassion.

If you've ever wrestled with the frustration of a body that won't do what you want it to, or wondered where God is when healing doesn't come, I'd love for you to join us. Together we'll reflect on how our physical, emotional, and spiritual groans are not only human but also holy. May we, together, encounter a God who doesn't stand far off from our pain, but draws near and holds us in it.
