God is Slow to Anger

In a world that demands instant reactions, where impatience often shapes our interactions, God stands apart. He is not quick to condemn, nor does He rush to punish. Instead, He responds with patience, not counting our sins against us. His slowness to anger is not weakness—it is the depth of His mercy, the proof of His enduring love. This Sunday, I pray that those who feel God is angry with them will find encouragement. I pray that those who are angry with God will encounter His grace and that anyone carrying anger toward others or bearing deep wounds because of the hurt they have experienced from others will experience His healing. No matter where you are, there is space for you to encounter God’s patience. But His patience is not meant to keep you where you are—it is meant to draw you closer to Him. Even though God withholds His anger, He never withholds Himself from us. When we truly understand His patience, it moves us into a deeper relationship with Him.
