Keep The Light On: Epiphany As A Way Of Life

What are you called to?

Calling has been a point of confusion for me often leaving me in my younger years feeling like I wasn’t doing enough or that I was somehow missing God’s calling on my life. Yet in our passage we see Jesus call ordinary people, doing ordinary work, in ordinary places to do extraordinary things with him. When Jesus steps into their story, everything begins to reorient and take on new meaning.

This Sunday we’ll reflect on what calling really means. Not as something we have to figure out or get right, but as an invitation Jesus gives us right where we are. An invitation to be seen by him, to walk with him, and to discover how knowing God reshapes the purpose and meaning of our everyday lives.

If you’ve ever quietly wondered whether your life really matters to God, or felt unsure about your purpose, or sensed that there might be more to following Jesus than just believing the right things, this passage will meet you with a lot of grace!
