This Sunday we continue our Lenten series, "The Bright Sadness: Exchanging the Shrine of Self for the Shadow of the Cross." During Lent, we follow Jesus on the road to the cross and reflect on what it means to exchange the life we build around ourselves for the life Christ invites us into. May we loosen our grip on comfort, control, and certainty this Lenten season and make space to journey into the unknown with God (a place of great adventure and surprises!).

This week we will look at one of the most theologically rich narratives in the Bible! I've wrestled with understanding the weight of the story of Abraham in Genesis 12 this week. WOW! There is so much there for us today. I've been left with such an awe of truly how amazing the work of Christ is.

Abraham's journey raises a question many of us quietly wrestle with in our own lives: Are God's promises strong enough to carry us where we have never been? Together we will explore how God's covenant with Abraham reveals his desire to restore partnership with humanity and how that promise ultimately finds its fulfillment in Jesus.

If you have ever struggled to trust God when the future feels unclear, this message is for you. I hope you will join us this Sunday as we worship together and consider where God might be inviting us to follow him in faith!
