Have you ever felt like you were running on spiritual fumes? You’re triggered by even the smallest things, carrying a constant, low-level anxiety. There’s never enough time in the day, and when you finally rest, guilt sets in. Then, the weekend arrives, and we go into "weekend warrior" mode, trying not to miss a single thing—only to end up more exhausted than we were before.
This week, we will be looking at the story of Martha and Mary. Many of us are like Martha—constantly busy, caught up in endless tasks, and consumed by doing—while we've forgotten how to be like Mary, who simply sat in Jesus’ presence. Most of us have become a “human doing” instead of a “human being.” We need to not only understand what it means to truly be—but also to make some intentional changes to start living fully as a human being.
