Let’s be honest, life doesn’t wait for us to catch our breath.

Some of us are carrying heavy questions, buried under pressure, stress, or pain. For others, it’s more subtle, a quiet discouragement, the ache of feeling stuck, or wondering if God is still speaking.

This Sunday, we’re launching our new summer message series through the Book of James: Practical Faith. James is one of the most direct, honest, and hope-filled books in the Bible—a bold invitation to live a faith that actually works in the real world.

And we’re starting with a message many of us need right now from James 1;1-8,12: Faith in Trials. James says something shocking: “Consider it pure joy… when you face trials of many kinds.”

Joy? In trials?

Not because the pain is good, but because God is doing something good in you, something deeper, stronger, and more lasting than the trial itself.
