What do you do with the things you regret most? The words you wish you could take back. The habits you can’t seem to break. The guilt or shame you’ve been carrying in silence.

Most of us try to hide these things, hoping time will erase them. But the truth is, what stays hidden never heals. That’s why James writes:

“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)

This Sunday, as we close out our summer series in the book of James by exploring James 5:13-20. We’re leaning into a practice that feels risky but is actually life-giving: confession. Far from being humiliating, confession is the pathway to forgiveness, freedom, healing, and wholeness. Together, we’ll explore what it means to be a community where it’s safe to be honest with God and one another and where grace is stronger than shame.
