This time of year provides us with the incredible opportunity to get outside and enjoy the beauty and wonder of creation! In our reconciliation message series, Bury the Hatchet, we have explored being reconciled with God and one another but what about our call to be reconciled to the world God made and loves? According to the Biblical account, our relationship with God, ourselves, and each other weren't the only relationships broken by sin, our relationship with creation was broken, too.

Reconciliation is the work of God and we are invited to participate in that work. Through Jesus we can experience reconciliation with God, each other, and the world God loves. This Sunday we will look at Genesis 2:4-15 and explore the important and often neglected topic of pursuing a ministry of reconciliation with the natural world, our God-given responsibility to appreciate and care for all that God has made!
