Recently, I have been studying the human brain, and have learned about what Dr. Jim Wilder calls Enemy Mode. Our brain on enemy mode is similar to a cell phone on airplane mode—it cannot connect. And a brain that cannot connect can be damaged and do damage. I hope you join us this week as we continue our series on the parables of Jesus, specifically, The Good Samaritan, which is one of the most well known and influential stories in history. But remember, parables pack a punch…like eating spicy food. So if we have a mild feeling when we think of being like the Samaritan, we may need to hear it again.
