There is something in us that is enchanted into believing that the good life is found at the top. The ones with the most power, the most security, and the most popularity win in this kingdom! And we are being formed in these values everyday, not always asking: What kind of kingdom is this? And, what kind of King does it reflect? Jesus, on the other hand, revealed a different kind of kingdom with a holy other King. And we are invited to hear and participate now “on earth as it is in heaven.”
