The parable of Jesus we are exploring this week is a strong exhortation to use our God-given resources with eternity in mind! Jesus tells the story we know as the Parable of the Shrewd Manager in Luke 16:1-13. This is one of the most difficult of Jesus' parables to understand because it seems like Jesus is affirming an irresponsible manager who acted dishonestly to serve his own interests. But is that the case or is there more to the story? The heart of it is about using what we have to bless others and build God's kingdom. What are the resources God has entrusted to you?
